'12 People Trapped'

For this week's news source, I decided to check out the Fox News page on Facebook. Because this week begun on September 11, I did not expect to see much about the election. Indeed, I was correct, as there was nothing directly related to the election.

In addition to the 9/11 stories, there was the terrifying news about Libya and the attacks in the Middle East. I find it tragic that these attacks occurred 11 years later, on the anniversary of September 11. The Official Fox News Facebook page covered the attacks extensively, consistently keeping its viewers updated with information.

However, out of all the stories posted in the last week, there was one powerful story that caught my eye - a chilling article about a note that survived the falling of the Twin Towers. The note, written by Randy Scott, read "84th Floor West Office 12 People Trapped." After 11 years, the note finally made it home to the Scott family.

The note had trace amounts of blood on it and DNA testing confirmed the blood belonged to Randy Scott. The note is currently on display at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
